Celebration of Buddha’s Birthday
Please join us as we celebrate the holy 2979th birthday of our supreme omniscient guide, Buddha Shakyamuni, at the Dzogchen Retreat Center on June 8-9, 2019. The event will include a Buddha Bathing Ceremony and an auspicious teaching from Venerable Bodhi Lama Wongmo. Let us gather and practice Dharma together on these magnificent sacred days.
Seating is limited, and registration is required, so please register early.
Occurring at the glorious delightful location – the Dzogchen Retreat Center, USA, the sacred valley of all Wisdom Dakinis, adorned with majestic mountains, beautiful forests, and pristine streams and rivers, which is spontaneously perfected as the auspicious Mandala of The Dzogchen Buddha Path.
About the Teacher
Venerable Bodhi Lama Wongmo has been a student of His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche for ten years and a Dharma student and practitioner in general for twelve years. Since first taking refuge, she has applied herself to making great effort to learn, contemplate, and meditate the sacred Dharma, committing herself completely to that effort in 2007 when she moved to the Dzogchen Retreat Center. During the eight years she has been a student of Khenpo Rinpoche, she has attended all Dzogchen Lineage Internships in America, including the 2011 Internship in Russia, as well as most shorter retreats that Rinpoche has given. She has traveled with Rinpoche around the US, Asia, Russia, and Europe as his student and attendant.

All attendees are asked to arrive at the Dzochgen Retreat Center before 2:00PM Saturday 8-June-2019. The Celebration will conclude at 6:00PM Sunday 9-June-2019.
Note regarding extending stay: If individuals want to stay on as volunteers or for personal retreat this is most welcome, however they must request in advance and receive prior approval. Please note this on your registration and contact the Event Director to confirm.

Fees
The cost of this event is $100, including two days of ceremony, overnight lodging on June 8, dinner on June 8, and breakfast and lunch on June 9. There is a discount for youth; please indicate your request for this when you register.
