Grand Blessing Ceremony of the 10,000 Offerings to the 21 Noble Taras

27 April 2018 (Friday) - 29 April 2018 (Sunday)

The Dzogchen Shri Singha Foundation is pleased to announce our first ever Dzogchen Buddha Path Tara Drupchen under the guidance of His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. This three-day public event will be held at the Northwest Tibetan Cultural Association’s Lemelson Auditorium, 4401 NE 122nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97230. This is a rare opportunity for the public to participate in a large Buddhist practice and ceremony (a drupchen) to help increase personal well-being while contributing to world peace.

The 2018 Dzogchen Buddha Path Tara Drupchen will commence at 10 AM on Friday, April 27, 2018 and conclude at 6 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018.

The Tibetan word drupchen translates literally as “Vast Accomplishment.” This extremely powerful group practice draws upon all the skillful methods of Dharma contained within the Vajrayana teachings to generate great merit and eliminate negativity of all kinds. This type of sadhana, or “means to accomplishment”, includes abundant offerings, visualizations, mantras, mudras, chanting, music, and dancing. All of these supports for positive thinking harmonize to help create a pure and sacred environment in the perception of the practitioners. It is said that the positive karma generated by several days of drupchen practice engaged with the correct intention can equal months or even years spent in solitary retreat.
